Nathan Hall opened under the gun with a raise to 60,000. Peter Johnson Jr. then shoved all in over the top for 355,000. Jeffrey Cormier was next to act and he verified the amount before calling Johnson's all in.

The next player to act was Senthuran Vijayaratnam. He began Day 2 as the chip leader with 44 players starting the day. Here was sitting at over 2-million chips and shoved all in.

Hall was next to act and went all in as well. The action was now back on Cormier who called the original all in for 355,000. Cormier did have Vijayratnam covered just barely, but decided to fold and leave the three players to settle the hand between themselves.

The hands:

Hall turned over {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and was in the lead. Vijayaratnam was looking for an ace with {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} and Johnson Jr. was in bad shape holding {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}.

The board:

The board ran out {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Hall won the hand and soared to over 3-million chips. Johnson Jr. was eliminated and Vijayaratnam ended the hand just below 300,000, which was roughly about nine big blinds.

Johnson will take home CAD $12,500 for his 7th place finish.

What's Next:

The remaining six players quickly decided to stop play for the day and return tomorrow at 1 p.m.
