Eliminated Between 13th and 17th Place ($1,250)

Level 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Here are some of the recent eliminations. Each player earned CAD $1,250.

Isabelle Tremblay, who finished 14th, flopped top pair against the two pair of Derek Lerner and couldn't catch up.

The board read {J-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} and Tremblay was in the cutoff. She went all in and Lerner called.

Tremblay showed {K-}{J-} and was behind Lerner's {6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}.

The turn was the {5-Clubs}, and the river was the {Q-Diamonds}, sending Tremblay home just short of bagging for Day 2. Tremblay ran in many of the starting flights and finally broke through today with a deep run and a cash, but fell short of her goal to make Day 2.

Then, Elvira Popescu followed Tremblay to the rail as the Day 2 bubble. The action folded to Amir Babakhani and he shoved all in . Elvira Popescu was in the big blind with only 80,000 behind. She called with {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}. Babakhani turned over {7-Spades}{6-Spades}.

The board came {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{K-Spades}{9-Spades}, giving Babakhani trip sevens and the pot. Popescu left, eliminated in 13th place.

13 - Elvira Popescu
14 - Isabelle Tremblay
15 - Rene Berube
16 - Mitchell Dredge
17 - Dalton Dawkins
