Maxime Hebert Fills Up, Fabio Luongo Takes a Hit

Level 8 : 300/600, 75 ante

Fabio Luongo got off to a fast start today but hit a little bit of a hiccup against Maxime Hebert.

The board read {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Hebert bet, Luongo asked how much Hebert had behind and then raised. The two players quickly got all in and Luongo showed a flush draw with {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Hebert had trip eights holding {8-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}.

The turn completed Luongo's flush with the {3-Hearts}, but the river filled Hebert up with the {9-Diamonds}.
