Broadway for Shack-Harris

Level 6 : 150/300, 25 ante

Catching the action on the flop of {J-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}, Yu Kurita bet out 1,100 from under the gun, and Brandon Shack-Harris made the call next to act along with both the blinds.

The turn landed the {5-Spades} and the blinds and Kurita checked to Shack-Harris who bet out 2,700. The small blind mucked, but the big blind moved all in for 5,450 with Kurita folding and Shack-Harris calling.

Shack-Harris: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}
Opponent: {9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

With Shack-Harris having his opponent drawing dead, the river landed the meaningless {K-Clubs} to see Shack-Harris eliminate his opponent and move to 30,000 in chips.

Reinkemeier Gone

Level 6 : 150/300, 25 ante

Tony Hachem just eliminated Tobias Reinkemeier from the field. The two got all the money in on the {7-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop, and Hachem had the {K-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for a better top pair than Reinkemeier's {7-Spades}{6-Spades}.

The turn was the {5-Spades}, and the river was the {9-Hearts} to end Reinkemeier's tournament.

One for Kurita

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

Dylan Hortin opened for 450 under the gun and Yu Kurita and Brandon Shack-Harris called from the small and big blinds respectively. All three players proceeded to check the {6-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop and then Shack-Harris bet 800 after Kurita checked the {8-Hearts} turn. Hortin folded, Kurita called, and then both players returned to checking on the {9-Hearts} river.

Kurita tabled the {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for two pair, and it bested Shack-Harris, who showed an inferior two pair with {4-Diamonds}{x-}.

Reinkemeier Getting Busy

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

After moving all in on the flop on the previous hand, Tobias Reinkemeier was at it again in an encounter with Eugene Portlen.

Portlen opened to 400 and Reinkemeier three-bet the button to 900. The action passed back to Portlen and he four-bet to 2,400 only to have Reinkemeier move all in for 4,375.

Portlen went into the tank for a few moments before eventually folding his hand to see Reinkemeier scoop the pot.

Rubie vs. Portaro

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

Brendon Rubie opened for 450 under the gun and action folded to Bruno Portaro, who defended from the big blind. Portaro then checked the {5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{2-Clubs} flop and folded when Rubie bet 650. Not much of a hand, but ti gave us a good excuse to update you on both their chip counts.

Pfutzenreuter Off to a Good Start

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

Timo Pfutzenreuter raised to 400 and called the three-bet to 1,075 by the player one seat over. On the {9-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} {A-Clubs} {8-Hearts} turn, the opponent of the German got the remainder of his short stack in the middle with {9-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} and Pfutzenreuter called only to see himself drawing dead with the {A-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} already.

Despite that loss, Pfutzenreuter has had a decent start thus far and is already up to 24,000.

Politano Doesn't Bet

Level 5 : 100/200, 25 ante

Kahle Burns check-called 1,375 on the {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} board against World Series of Poker November Niner Bruno Politano. The river completed the board with the {J-Spades}, and Burns checked. Politano thought about it, but then checked behind and tabled the {K-Clubs}{Q-Spades} for trip kings.

"Ahhh! How do you not bet that?!?!" yelled out Burns before turning up the {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs} for a rivered full house. Politano shrugged his shoulders knowing he saved some chips.
