Dylan Honeyman opened to 5,000 from the hijack and Sam Cohen called in the small blind before Dylan Kehoe three-bet to 13,400 from the big blind.

With the action back on Honeyman, he four-bet to 26,600 and Cohen quickly mucked.

Cohen Gets Aces Again; Knocks Out Lee

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Sam Cohen opened for the second hand in a row, this time from under the gun. The player on the button called and Chun Lee moved all in for 23,000 out of the big blind and Cohen reshoved to isolate successfully, as the player on the button folded.

Cohen had pocket aces and Lee only {A-Clubs} {3-Clubs}. The board ran out {10-} {2-} {8-Clubs} {2-} {10-} and Cohen is now pretty much exactly on average.

Boskovic Busts Putsey

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Stephen Putsey has hit the rail after a preflop all in confrontation with Dejan Boskovic. Putsey had about 55,000 chips left and got it in through a raising war with {A-Clubs} {6-Clubs}, though he needed help against {A-Spades} {K-Diamonds}. Boskovic made a straight on the {4-Hearts} {2-Spades} {Q-Spades} {10-Diamonds} {J-Spades} board and shortly after the table was broken.

Blight Exits

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Baden Logan raised it up to 7,000 from the cut off. Craig Blight was last to act and moved all in for his last 53,000 from the big blind. Logan made the quick call as both players tabled their cards.

Logan: {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Blight: {q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}

No help came for Blight as the board ran out {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades} to see him hit the rail.

Gross Gone in Horrible Fashion

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante
Jeff Gross
Jeff Gross

The action folded round to Ivan Zhou on the button and he made it 5,500 to go. From the big blind, Jeff Gross three-bet to 15,000 and Zhou moved all in for roughly 500,000 with Gross snap-calling for his last 80,000 in chips.

Zhou: {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Gross: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}

With Gross in great shape to double, the {K-Spades}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop saw Zhou launch in the cheer to cheer for a king or ten.

The turn of the {3-Hearts} changed nothing, and with Zhou continuing to ask for a king or ten, the dealer delivered the {10-Hearts} on the river to send Gross to the rail and Zhou up to 582,000 in chips.

Lee: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

First Hand of the Day

Level 13 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

A short-stacked Jonathan Duhamel started proceedings by moving all in for his remaining 2,600 from under the gun. Dennis Huntly was in late position and raised it up to 60,000 to force everyone else out. However, the action fell on Tatjana Zizic in the small blind who moved all in for 128,500. With the decision back on Huntly, he committed his last 3,800 in chips and the players tabled their cards.

Duhamel: {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Huntly: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Zizic: {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Huntly locked up the pot after flopping a set of kings as he enjoys a double up early in today’s play. Duhamel made the effort in coming back today with the shortest stack but was unable to find a miracle to continue on.
