Daniel Laidlaw on the Rail

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Daniel Laidlaw was criipled in the previous level after losing an all in against Mikel Habb for 36,000 with {J-Clubs} {J-Hearts} versus {A-Hearts} {K-Spades}, as the board ran out {A-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {4-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds}. Two hands into the new level he was in the big blind and got it all in against Baden Logan from the small blind.

Logan: {Q-Spades} {9-Clubs}
Laidlaw: {K-Hearts} {2-Hearts}

The {4-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {3-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} board saw Logan improve on the turn and Laidlaw was gone.

Kurita Doubles Through Logan

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

In the very last hand before the break, Yu Kurita moved all in for 44,500 in chips after Baden Logan had raised to 7,500 from under the gun. Tatjana Zizic folded pocket eights in the big blind and Logan called with {5-Diamonds} {5-Spades} to see himself dominated by the {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Spades} of Kurita.

Both players hit their set on the {Q-Hearts} {5-Clubs} {8-Spades} {7-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} board and Zizic would have done so as well.

Teng First Millionaire

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Victor Teng limped from the small blind and Patty Lai checked. On the {6-Clubs} {9-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} flop both checked and Teng then bet the {2-Clubs} turn. Lai moved all in and was snap-called by Teng, who showed the nuts in {A-Clubs} {7-Clubs}. Lai was drawing dead with {A-Spades} {Q-Clubs} and the {K-Clubs} on the river was already meaningless.

Shack-Harris Doubles

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Brandon Shack-Harris was all in for 162,000 with the dominating {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds} to Michael O'Grady's {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}. The flop, turn, and river ran out {A-Hearts}{J-Spades}{6-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{A-Clubs}, and Shack-Harris doubled to over 300,000 in chips.

Chia Silences Zhou

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Ivan Zhou raised to 6,000 and Joachim Chia peeled, so did the player in the big blind. On the {Q-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {5-Spades} flop, Zhou continued for 15,000 and only Chia called before the {8-Clubs} fell on the turn. Zhou moved all in with the far superior stack and Chia called with {7-Hearts} {6-Clubs} for the straight.

Zhou only had {5-Spades} {4-Diamonds} for bottom two pair and couldn't improve anymore on the {9-Spades} river. Chia was all in for 164,500 chips and now has Zhou covered in stack.

Zhou Shoves

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Joachim Chia opened under the gun to 6,500 and Stevan Chew made the call next to act before Ivan Zhou three-bet to 25,000 from the small blind.

Both Chia and Chew called as the flop fell {7-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and Zhou instantly moved all in for roughly 430,000.

Chia went deep into the tank for several minutes before Zhou added, "I'm ahead all the way ... top set and the nut flush draw!"

After a little longer, Chia folded, as did Chew before Zhou flashed his {J-Spades}.

Burns Busts

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Burns: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Lim: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} to see Burns eliminated from the tournament.
