With two players seeing a board of 10♠2♠8♣ and roughly 30,000 already in the middle, Christopher Puetz bet 11,000 from the small blind and received a call from Maria Ho on the button.
Puetz slowed down with a check on the K♠ turn and Ho moved all in for approximately 62,000. Puetz thought about his decision for about a minute before folding and Ho took down a decent pot without showdown.
Taiwan's Wei-Hsun Lu raised to 12,000 and Gonzalo Ranero three-bet jammed for 99,000 in the hijack. Fellow Spaniard Jon Santos then pushed all-in for 149,000 and Lu asked for a count on the larger stack. He then called half a minute later and they pushed them over.

The 8♦8♥5♦ flop and 6♦ turn kept Ranero and Santos with some equity. However, the 5♣ river kept Lu ahead and he sent both players from Spain to the rail.
Erick Lindgren hit the nut flush with A♣10♣ on a board of 10♦8♣5♣2♣6♠ and earned a full double through Stephen Song, who briefly exposed his cards.
Song was left with fewer than the starting stack and got them in with the 9♥8♥ via open-shove.
Eduardo Bernal called in the cutoff with the Q♦Q♣ and dealt the final blow on a K♦9♦2♥4♣Q♠ board.

Kristen Foxen, who recently became short-stacked not long after accepting an interview with Jeff Platt, moved all in from middle position for 32,000 and was called by Marian Farcas in the big blind who covered.

With just 171 players remaining, the stacks are getting bigger and the player to have accumulated the most chips so far appears to be David Ganim.
On a heads-up turn of K♠Q♠10♣K♣, he bet 35,000 and Artur Nachtigal tank-folded. The pot was pushed to Ganim, who is well above half a million by now.
Anthony Zinno opened to 11,000 from early position and received calls from Francis Poirier in middle position and Christopher Puetz on the button.
The flop came K♦9♠7♦ and Zinno fired a 5,000 continuation bet. Poirier got out of the way while Puetz made the call.
Both players checked the 10♠ turn and 3♥ river. Zinno turned over A♦5♦ for ace-high and a missed flush draw while Puetz showed down A♣9♣ for a pair of nines to take the pot.
Jesse Lonis got some chips back when his open-raise to 12,000 earned one caller and Bruno Alava squeezed to 40,000. The four-bet shove by Lonis followed and Alava followed to get shown queen-jack.

Edilson Junior raised to 10,000 from the hijack and found one caller in Andre Marques from the cutoff to bring out the Q♠2♥9♥ flop.
Junior checked over to Marques who tossed out a bet of 11,000. Junior made the call and watched as the Q♣ hit the turn.
Junior checked it over to Marques again and again, Marques came out with a bet totaling 26,000. Junior paused briefly before grabbing chips and tossing in the call to see the 5♠ fall on the river.
Action quickly checked through to showdown and Junior showed the K♦9♣ which was good enough to get a muck out of Marques before the dealer shipped the pot in Junior's direction.
Big stack Wei-Hsun Lu opened to 13,000 and Carlos Napolitano three-bet to 33,000. Hayley Hanna then jammed for the 45,000 she had behind and Lu folded, Napolitano called.
