Rui Sousa opened to 500,000 and Montgomery McQuade called before Bojan Gledovic three-bet jammed a stack of 2,850,000 in the small blind. Only McQuade called.
Bojan Gledovic: 7♥7♣
Montgomery McQuade: 10♠10♥
Gledovic was pipped and couldn't improve on the runout of 4♥J♦8♠8♣J♣ to mark his elimination in 13th place.
Vitor Dzivielevski jammed his short stack from under the gun and when action folded to Daniel Neilson, he called from the big blind to set up a runout with Dzivielevski at risk.
Vitor Dzivielevski: A♦J♥
Daniel Neilson: K♦10♦
The 6♥A♣5♥ flop was gin for Dzivielevski, but the K♥ turn gave the table a pending sweat. The K♣ river brought in the running outs that Neilson needed to complete the come from behind victory to send Dzivielevski to the payout desk in 12th place for $113,150.
Adam Walton open-jammed a stack of 5,425,000 in the small blind and Rui Sousa called in the big blind with a bigger stack.
Adam Walton: 10♠9♠
Rui Sousa: A♥9♥
Walton was dominated and couldn't improve as the board ran out 4♠2♣K♥4♣7♥ to mark Walton's elimination as he narrowly missed out on another Main Event final table.
In a pot with about 4,000,000 already in the middle and a completed board reading 10♦K♠4♦K♦3♦, Daniel Neilson was first to act and jammed to put Mikita Badziakouski all-in.
Badziakouski was immediately sent into the tank and seemed pained by the decision at hand. After about two minutes of thought, Badziakouski would finally begrudgingly release his cares to the dealer and send the pot to Neilson even though it seemed to be the last thing he wanted to do.
On a flop reading 9♦6♠K♥, Mikita Badziakouski checked from the big blind over to Matt Glantz who grabbed enough chips to put Badziakouski all-in and moved them into the pot.
Badziakouski entered the tank and spent a good few minutes there, seemingly going back and forth with his decision on whether or not to call it off and place himself at risk. In the end, Badziakouski decided to call it off, putting himself at risk of bubbling the final table and sending he and Glantz to a runout.
Mikita Badziakouski: 8♦6♦
Matt Glantz: 10♣9♣
Badziakouski was behind with two cards to come and when the board completedd with the 2♥ turn and 7♦ river, Badziakouski would be sent to the exit in 10th place for $150,000.
