Action was heads up with what looked like 600,000 in the middle and a full board of 88J67 when Jason Koon slid out a stack of blue T-100,000 chips. Istvan Briski, in the next seat over, used a time bank before he committed the last of his chips.

Koon turned over 83 for three eights and Briski showed the losing QJ before he gathered his things to head for the door.

The GGPoker Ambassador is now hear the five million mark in chips as Day 1a enters its final stages.

Thomas Muehloecker open-jammed a stack of 510,000 from under the gun and Ivan Deyra called in the next seat before Erik Seidel three-bet jammed in the big blind. Deyra folded to hang onto his remaining 730,000 as Seidel told him "good laydown."

Thomas Muehloecker: 1010
Erik Seidel: AA

Muehloecker had run into aces as the board ran out KK3Q2 to mark his elimination on the soft bubble.

Ryan Riess was forced all in from the big blind and saw a flop of 9KJ three ways before Fedor Holz bet to get things heads-up.

Ryan Riess: 44
Fedor Holz: 99

"I need running clubs or fours," Riess said glumly. He received neither as the 9 turn gave Holz quads before the J river confirmed Riess' elimination on the final table bubble after a lengthy session of hand-for-hand play.
