Luca Takes From Holz

Level 19 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Action folded to Fedor Holz who raised to 160,000 from the cutoff before seeing Ivan Luca come in for a three-bet to 475,000 from the button. The blinds got out of the way and Holz made the call to see the 7Q2 flop.

Holz checked over to Luca who continued with a bet of 225,000. Holz wasted little time in making the call to see the 7 hit the turn.

Holz checked his action to Luca who opted to check it back this time around and watch as the 6 fell on the river.

Action quicked checked through to showdown and Holz turned over the AJ only to see Luca turn over the AK which was good enough to take the pot with a superior ace-high.

Davies Comes Out the Victor in Three-Way All In

Ren Lin raised to 700,000, leaving himself roughly 100,000 behind. Seth Davies checked his cards and after a brief moment, jammed for around 1,600,000 from the small blind. Mikita Badziakouski woke up in the big blind with a decision and after using one timebank, grabbed a stack of chips and made the call, covering both players by a small margin and setting up a runout with both Lin and Davies at risk as Lin added his last 100,000 in the middle.

Ren Lin: A2
Seth Davies: 1010
Mikita Badziakouski: AQ

The 710K flop gave Davies middle set but also provided a gut-shot straight draw for Badziakouski and the nut flush draw for Lin, setting up some serious turn and river sweats for all players involved.

The turn brought out the 8 and when the 8 followed on the river, Davies filled up to hold on for a almost a triple up as Badziakouski was left with dust and Lin headed for the exit.

Badziakouski would be essentially forced all in the next hand in the small blind and ended up following Lin to the rail.

Wilson Pips and Loses

Level 19 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Brandon Wilson was all in for about 775,000 in the cutoff and at risk against Arunas Sapitavicius in the small blind.

Brandon Wilson: A8
Arunas Sapitavicius: A7

Wilson was in good shape with the slightly better kicker, but the J74 flop left him needing help. The 9 turn gave him a few more outs, but the 4 river bricked out and he was eliminated.
