Two in a Row for Seidel

Level 16 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

The board read 79A3 with around 650,000 in the middle in the first hand. Seth Gottlieb bet 425,000 from the big blind for Erik Seidel to make the call from the button. The 7 completed the board and Gottlieb barreled a bet of 975,000 over the line. Seidel considered it and then made the call. Gottlieb revealed the 65 for the bluff for Seidel to show his A4 for two pair and the pot.

On the next hand, Seidel raised to 225,000 from the cutoff and Gottlieb was the only one to make the call from the small blind. They both checked through the 4108 flop to the 5 on the turn. Gottlieb lead with a bet of 200,000 for Seidel to raise it up to 1,000,0000. Gottlieb used a time bank card before opting to fold.

Luca Triples Up

Level 16 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Ivan Luca raised to 360,000 from the hijack, keeping 5,000 behind and Mike Watson called from the cutoff. Erik Seidel three-bet to 900,000 from the button for the blinds to quickly fold. Luca took his time, looked over to the other table, and then flicked in his last chip for the call while Watson opted to get out of their way.

Ivan Luca: KQ
Erik Seidel: AQ

The flop came 58K for Luca to hit top pair.

The turn was the Q for Luca to hit two pair and Seidel one. Luca just needed to avoid an ace to stay alive and did just that when the 9 completed the board.
