Heath Takes a Big Chunk From Ivey

Level 5 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Phil Ivey raised from middle position to 14,000, and was called by Alex Kulev in the hijack. It then folded to Benjamin Heath in the small blind who three-bet to 84,000. Ivey called and Kulev folded.

The flop came A810 and both players checked to the 9 on the turn. Heath then check-called a bet of 100,000 from Ivey.

After the 2 on the river, Heath again checked to Ivey, who bet out 250,000. Heath then decided to raise to 675,000, leaving just 14,000 chips behind. This sent Ivey deep into the tank, using six time banks. Before the shot clock nearly ran out again, Ivey put in the chips to call. Heath tabled QJ for a straight, and Ivey quickly mucked giving the massive pot to Heath.
