The flop came A♥J♥7♥ and Pardo continued for 3,500. Greenwood called and the 4♣ fell on the turn.

Pardo then bet 21,000 and Greenwood again called. Both players checked the 5♥ river and Pardo turned over J♠J♦ for a set. Greenwood mucked A♣10♣ as Pardo took down the early big pot.

Both players checked the 4♣3♦2♠ flop. Nguyen then led out for 4,500 on the 2♣ turn and Dvoress called.

The river was the Q♠ and Nguyen bet 6,000. Dvoress came back with a raise to 38,000 and Nguyen called.

Dvoress showed Q♥2♥ for a full house and Nguyen mucked.

Heads-up on a flop of K♣8♣5♠, Chance Kornuth bet 2,000 from the button and Dimitar Danchev called in the big blind.

The turn was the 7♥ and Kornuth continued for 9,000. Danchev again called and the 6♦ fell on the river. Danchev then led out for 3,000, Kornuth raised to 33,000, and Danchev snap-called.

Kornuth showed A♠8♥ for a pair of eights, but Danchev turned over 9♠8♦ for a straight to win the pot.

Jeremy Ausmus raised to 2,500 in the cutoff and Matthew Belcher called on the button, as did big blind Paul Jager.

The flop came 7♣5♣5♦ and Ausmus continued for 3,000. Both opponents called to the 4♣ turn as action was checked through to the 8♦ river.

Jager then led out for 12,000 and Ausmus raised to 56,000. Belcher and Jager both folded as Ausmus took the pot.

With around 10,000 in the pot, Wayne Heung bet 2,500 from the small blind on a flop of K♠10♠2♣ and Lucas Greenwood raised to 10,500 under the gun. Heung called and the 4♣ fell on the turn.

Greenwood then bet 40,000 and Heung called. The river was the 7♣ and Greenwood bet 75,000. Heung responded by moving all in for around 200,000.

Greenwood ripped off his hat and burned through multiple time banks before calling for around 180,000. Heung turned over K♣5♣ for a rivered flush and Greenwood tossed two tens into the muck for a beaten set as he became the first elimination of the day.

Action picked up on the turn in a hand between Matthew Belcher and Esti Wang.

With roughly 30,000 in the middle and the board reading 10♠8♥8♣4♠, Belcher check-called a bet of 18,000 from Wang.

On the 6♠ river, Belcher checked again and Wang fired out a bet of 45,000. Belcher thought for a moment before flicking in the call. He quickly mucked his hand when Wang turned over A♠A♦ for two pair, aces and eights.

Linde continued for 3,000 and only Dvoress called. The turn was the 5♦ and Dvoress led out for 5,000. Linde then raised to 18,000 and Dvoress called.

The river was the A♠ and Dvoress bet 8,000. Linde just called this time with 3♣3♥ for a full house, and Dvoress mucked 7♥4♥ for a missed straight draw.
