Vogelsang Building a Stack Early

Level 2 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Christoph Vogelsang
Christoph Vogelsang

Christoph Vogelsang raised to 2,500 in the cutoff and was three-bet by Kristen Foxen in the small blind to 12,500. Vogelsang made the call.

The flop came 943 and Foxen check-called a bet of 19,000 from Vogelsang. On the 6 turn, Foxen check-called again, this time for 66,000, bringing the 8 river.

Foxen checked for a third time and Vogelsang put out a bet of 141,000, enough to put Foxen all in, who had 127,000 behind.

Foxen thought for a moment before flicking in the call. She saw the bad news when Vogelsang turned over KK for a pair of kings.

Foxen was seen shortly afterwards back in the tournament area after having rebought for a fresh stack.
