Schwartz Good at Showdown

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Karolis Sereika opened to 5,000 from middle position before Roger Tondeur three-bet to 16,000 in the cutoff. In the small blind, Noah Schwartz cold-called and Sereika came along as well.

On the J43 flop, the action checked to Tondeur who bet 25,000 and only Schwartz called.

The 7 turn and 5 turn quickly checked through.

Schwartz's queens were good as Tondeur opted to shut it down with ace-high.

"And to think I wanted a queen," joked Tondeur.

Schwartz replied, "Me too."

Meneguetti Drags it on the River

In a heads-up pot with 15,000 in the middle the flop read 1075, and Renan Meneguetti check-called a bet of 12,000 in the big blind from Bradey Prosic on his left.

The 4 turn was checked through and the 4 paired the board on the river. Meneguetti led for 52,000 which resulted in Prosic's cards flying into the muck.

Boianovsky Gets Paid by Kenjic

Heads-up on a board of 21037, Felipe Boianovsky led out for 18,000 from the big blind and Jovan Kenjic called in early position.

The river was the 7 and Boianovsky bet another 75,000. Kenjic quickly called and Boianovsky showed K9 for a flopped flush to win the pot.

Moritz Wins a Four-Bet Pot

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Pedro Doro opened to 5,000 in early position and Timothy Adams three-bet to 18,000 from the cutoff. Jonathan Moritz stuck in a four-bet to 47,000 from the small blind which got Doro to fold but Adams eventually called.

The flop fell J52 and Moritz led out with a bet of 57,000. Adams gave it some thought for a minute but decided to let his hand go.

Stakelis Makes Correct Call on the River

With about 120,000 in the middle the completed board of KJ54A was already on the felt and Johannes Mueller had a bet of 60,000 in front of him from the small blind. Audrius Stakelis was on the button and was in the tank for some time before deciding on a call.

Mueller tabled K7 for top pair and Stakelis took down the pot with KJ for two pair.

Vardanyan Gets Tricky with Double Check-Raise

Ricardo Santos opened to 5,000 from under the gun and Vardan Vardanyan called in the big blind.

On the 422 flop, Vardanyan checked to Santos who bet 3,000. Vardanyan put in a check-raise and Santos called.

The turn was the 7 Vardanyan slowed down with a check which prompted Santos to fire for 30,000. Vardanyan then check-raised again to 60,000 and Santos snap-folded

Lozano Barrels Twice on Atac

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Timothy Adams raised to 5,000 from under the gun and Julian Lozano reraised to 18,000 on his left. Salih Atac flat-called on the button and Adams got out of the way.

The flop came K66 and Lozano continued with a bet of 15,000. Atac called and the 8 rolled off on the turn. Lozano fired out another bet of 40,000 on the turn and Atac finally dumped his cards in the muck.

Vanessa Selbst had just taken her seat in the tournament when she tangled in a pot with Mikhail Iakovlev.

Iakovlev bet 6,000 from the big blind on a board of A238 and Selbst raised to 27,000 on the button. Iakovlev called and the K fell on the river.

Selbst then bet another 31,000 and Iakovlev again called. Selbst showed AQ for top pair and Iakovlev mucked.

Alkamli Double Barrels

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Tamer Alkamli opened 5,000 in the hijack and Lucas Greenwood flatted on the button.

The dealer fanned a flop of AQ7, and Alkamli continued for 5,000. Greenwood made the call.

When the 2 fell on the turn, Alkamli sized up to 35,000 and that was enough to earn the pot as Greenwood's card hit the muck.
