Alan Keating
Alan Keating

Matthias Lipp raised to 90,000 in middle position and Alan Keating three-bet to 200,000 on his left. The action folded back to Lipp who slid out a stack of chips and Keating called off his last 200,000 chips.

The flop fell J94 to give Keating a straight flush draw despite Lipp flopping top pair. The 5 on the turn bricked out and the A on the river only improved Lipp to two pair. Keating was eliminated and wished his table good luck before leaving the room for the final time in this Super Main Event.

Raymond's Kings Crack Shohet's Aces

Level 14 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Cards were on their backs at showdown and Alexandre Raymond was seen dragging in a sizable pot with pocket kings against Gabriel Shohet's pocket aces on a board that read 95KJ10.

Jacob Stone recapped the action for PokerNews after the hand. According to Stone, Maksim Shuts opened with a raise from under the gun and Shohet flatted in early position.

Stone then called behind in the hijack and Raymond squeezed in the small blind with a raise to 480,000. Shuts got out of the way, Shohet moved all in for over 2,000,000, Stone folded, and Raymond called.

Emanuely Knocked Out Blind on Blind

Level 14 : Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Action folded to the small blind Ivan Emanuely who moved all in for his stack of 515,000, and the big blind Cole Keenan made the call to put him at risk.

Ivan Emanuely: Q10 All in
Cole Keenan: K9

Keenan was ahead with his king-high, and after the J69 flop, Keenan improved to a pair of nines, but the flop gave Emanuely an open-ended straight draw, along with his two overcards as outs. But the board ran out 5 on the turn, and 7 on the river, and the pair of nines of Keenan were good enough to take the pot and knock out Emanuely.
