Negreanu Busts First Bullet in Ten Minutes

Level 6 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Daniel Negreanu
Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu's first bullet lasted just ten minutes and he wasted no time tangling with Michael Wang on his second entry.

Wang opened to 20,000 from under the gun and Daniel Negreanu three-bet to 75,000 in the small blind, commenting "Let's see if he's got it." Wang called.

"Good call, good call," said Negrenau.

The flop landed 833 and Negreanu remarked that he should "bet small 'cuz this flop hits my range." He then bet 60,000, which he quickly regretted as he called it "way too much." Wang called.

Negreanu was silent by the A turn and checked. Wang bet 95,000 and heard about it from Negreanu after the Poker Hall of Famer folded.

"If he checked the turn, I would've bet big. I have nothing, but I would have bet big. Now I just fold!"
