Lozano Forces Two Folds

Level 30 : Blinds 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante

William Blais opened to 3,200,000 from under the gun, with Tomas Jozonis calling the small blind. Julian Pineda Lozano defended his big blind, and all three players checked the 764 flop.

Another check from Jozonis followed the 9 turn, where Lozano slid out a bet of 6,000,000. Blais let his hand go, and Jozonis also slid his cards into the muck allowing Lozano to pick up the pot.

Mercier's jacks stayed ahead for a double knockout as the board finished out 39 to send both Stokes and the reigning GPI Player of the Year to the rail.

One Chip For Coleman

Level 30 : Blinds 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante
David Coleman
David Coleman

David Coleman has 100,000 and that is not a typo.

Coleman committed 99% of his stack preflop before checking down a board of 37K22 with Julian Pineda Lozano who bet the river and led Coleman to fold what he later revealed was Jx10x.

For his part, Lozano was kind enough to show 99 to help Coleman sleep tonight.

"If you showed me jack-nine suited I would be suicidal right now," Coleman said as he nursed his single chip.
