Pedro Padilha opened to 65,000 from early position. Juan Pardo and Talal Shakerchi called from the blinds.
Pardo led out for 60,000 on the J♥9♣6♣ flop, and only Padilha called. The latter then called a bet of 110,000 on the 7♣ turn. The 6♥ river paired the board and Pardo, who had 495,000 behind, checked. Padilha put Pardo to the test for his tournament life, and the Spaniard agonized over his options, using several time banks before folding.
Alex Foxen opened to 65,000 from the hijack, and Nacho Barbero thee-bet all in on the button for 215,000. It folded back to Foxen who made the call.

Roman Hrabec opened to 60,000 from middle position before Ding Biao made it 200,000 from the small blind. Hrabec clicked it to 340,000 and called when Biao five-bet jammed for 770,000.
