The 5♣8♠4♦ flop checked through to the 6♥ turn, where Koon bet 50,000. Velasevic called.

Velaseciv had 415,000 and was put to the test for his tournament life when Koon jammed as the big stack on the 2♦ river.

Velasevic was put into the blender, using several time extensions before calling.

Koon tabled J♥3♥ for a straight. Velsevic had decided to put on his hero cape at the wrong time, calling with A♣K♠ for ace-high.
