There's no Pressure Like Putting a Short Stack all-in

Stuart Rutter: Used to be a Nutter
Stuart Rutter: Used to be a Nutter

On the river after they've bet out 12,700 it's even more of a tough decision, as was the case when Almira Skripchenko bet out and Eric Haik put her all in. She looked at the board of {8-Spades} {2-Spades} {9-Spades} {6-Spades} {A-Clubs} and thought for a while but finally decided to fold.

At about the same time, Stuart Rutter was being re-raised preflop by Fabrice Touil (5,100 to 12,000). He called, and checked the {4-Spades} {9-Clubs} {6-Clubs} flop. "How much are you playing?" asked Touil. "76." "I'm all in," said Touil. Rutter remained motionless (apart from a brief self countdown performed at the start of the thinking process) but also opted for the fold option.
