PMU.fr WPT National Paris Day 2b Starts Shortly
Jean-Marc Achiary is the chip leader for this second Day 2 sitting down with 152,000 chips. Hot on his heels is Antoine Tissier with 150,200 and right behind him is Mehdi Souily on 147,400.
There really isn’t a lot between the top stacks so expect the lead to change frequently as the second and final Day 2 of the tournament progresses through seven one-hour levels.
If it is anything like Day 2a the first few levels will see a stampede for the exits as players seek to propel themselves towards a fighting chance to make the penultimate Day 3.
The 170 players returning shortly are chasing the World Poker Tour National title as well as the first place prize money of €140,000. Second place will receive €94,500 with third getting €61,000. Tomorrow will be money bubble day with 81 places paid with a min-cash worth €2,000.
First though they must survive today and attempt to catch Laurent Polito who finished Day 2A with a frankly astonishing 806,000. Can it happen? PokerNews will bring you all the latest as the drama unfolds.
