Emran Hussain opened to 1,200 preflop from early position and Adrian Mateos made it 3,200 in middle position. Sergi Reixach then shoved all in from the button for around 14,000 and it was passed back to Hussain who tanked for a couple of minutes before moving all in for about 30,000. Mateos called instantly.
Mateos:

"I almost folded," sighed Hussain.
The board came and the former WSOPE Main Event winner is now among the chip leaders.
News of Ram Vaswani's exit has reached us. Apparently he held on a board against Mike Sexton who held . Neither player improved and Sexton's kicker meant the latter won the pot.
On the turn of a board, Sergio Aido check-called a 5,500 bet from Rhys Jones to see the on the river. Aido checked once more and Jones moved all in, in effect setting the Spaniard all in for the latter's final 12,500. Aido tanked for several minutes and it looked as though he might fold but he eventually made the call with , ahead of Jones' which had been turned into a bluff.
Jones slipped back under his starting stack while Aido doubled up to 45,000.
Max Silver opened to 1,200 preflop and was called by Paul Vas Nunes on the button and Riad Kawmi in the small blind.
The flop was and Kawmi led for 1,725, Silver raised to 3,600 and Vas Nunes flat-called, as did Kawmi. The turn was checked to Vas Nunes who bet 7,000. Kawmi called and Silver decided to let it go.

On the turn of a board, Marvin Rettenmaier led out for 3,725 and Max Silver made the call. The river was the and Rettenmaier checked, Silver thought briefly and then bet 11,200.
It didn't take too long for the German to make the call and Silver showed , a flopped straight but he was now playing the board. Rettenmaier turned over and won the pot.
Silver shook himself, "I couldn't help myself, I knew I should've checked behind. I found the one way to lose the pot..."
There was a Sam Trickett-sized hole over on the far table and Frenchman Otto Richard sitting with a large stack of chips.
Richard told us that Trickett had opened preflop and that he (Richard) and Ram Vaswani had called to see a flop. Trickett bet 60% of the pot on the flop with Richard the only caller. Trickett bet the same percentage on the turn before shoving on the river for just over the size of the pot. Richard had called him down with and Trickett flashed before mucking.
