Yevgeniy Dudos and Fiuat Tanindi both reached the final table of the LEI Main Event yesterday and finished fifth respectively fourth. Tanindi has just been eliminated whereas Dudos sat down about five minutes ago.
Tournament director Christian Scalzi has just announced the level increase and confirmed to all players that a total of nine levels will be played today. After the end of level three, the first break on Day 1 takes place.
Sergey Rebechenko raised and got two callers to see the flop of . The Russian made a continuation bet of 1,000 and the other player folded whereas Naydenov raised to 2,600. Rebechenko called to see the on the turn, triggering a check-call of 4,000 by the Russian.
After the river, Rebechenko checked again and Naydenov moved all in for what looked like 8,000 and change. Rebechenko called with and Naydenov was sent to the rail with the inferior for a busted gutshot. The Bulgarian stormed out of the tournament area for now, but may very well return later and take the re-entry.
Stefan Garbarino took advantage of the single re-entry per day and has entered today's field once again as first re-entry for Day 1a. The screens currently show 56 out of 59 players remaining.
Sergey Rebechenko raised to 400 and was called by [Removed:2] before Serhat Cetiner reraised to 1,200. Both opponents called to see the flop. None of the players was interested in any action and checked through. After the turn the action got checked to Cetiner and he said "two hundred" before tossing in a T-5,000 chip.
Rebechenko was somewhat puzzled and called before Cetiner then said he actually meant 2,000. Since the verbal announcement was clear, the 200-bet stood and Maksoud folded. After the Ad] river, Rebechenko then check-folded to a bet of 2,000 by Cetiner.
A new table has been opened with Manig Loeser, Sinem Melin, Alper Kostem and Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi. The latter two just clashed with lots of trash talk during the hand when reaching the turn. "You gonna show me? I will show you." Kostem said and bet 1,900.
"Okay I show you this," The Grinder said and made it 5,000 to go. "Okay, I am all in" was the reply from Kostem for more than 23,000 in chips. Mizrachi flashed the and there was some confusion on the table whether or not the hand of the American was dead. The dealer didn't call the floor and instead mucked the cards of Mizrachi after Kostem had insisted on it before flashing the for a combo draw.
On the turn of a board, Hassan Bittar got his remaining 15,000 chips in with for two pair only to see Grigorii Robin call and turn over for better two pair. "Nine!" demanded Bittar from the dealer but his wish wasn't granted with the river completing the board.
Level two just got underway and the second player joined the rail. It was Idris Sahin from what we can tell, though no details of the last hand are known.
