Zinno Busted to Schemion

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Anthony Zinno
Anthony Zinno

We just caught wind of Anthony Zinno's elimination by the hands of Ole Schemion. Schemion raised under the gun and Zinno moved all in for 30,000. Schemion called holding {9-Clubs}{9-Spades} and he was up against Zinno's {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}.

The board ran out {Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{A-Clubs}{6-Spades} and Zinno's hand was mucked to send him to the rail on Day 2.

Suleyman Ends Hall's Tournament Life

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Ludovic Geilich raised to 3,000 and both Erdar Suleyman and Tom Hall made the call. The flop brought out {5-Clubs}{6-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Geilich bet 6,400, which was once again called by both players.

On the turn the {3-Diamonds} hit and Geilich bet 21,500 and Suleyman called after which Hall moved all in for about 50,000 chips. Geilich quickly folded and Suleyman made the call.

Suleyman: {J-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}
Hall: {10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

The river was the {6-Diamonds} and Suleyman jumped out of his seat in celebration after hitting a flush on the river to knock out Hall.

Senie Takes a Huge Chunk From O'Dwyer

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante
Brian Senie
Brian Senie

The two biggest stacks in the room just clashed in a massive pot, putting Brian Senie at the top of the counts by a huge margin.

"I don't think I've ever seen a stack this big at this stage of the tournament," Ludovic Geilich said after Senie was later moved to his table, to give an indication of the lead Senie currently holds on Day 2 of WPT Prague.

Senie told the WPT blogger how O'Dwyer called his raise, and two players saw the flop showing {K-Spades}{6-Clubs}{A-Clubs}. Senie fired big on the turn, the {9-Clubs}, and 145,000 on the river, the {3-Diamonds}, and O'Dwyer called him down.

Senie showed {8-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for a flush and O'Dwyer mucked his cards. Later O'Dwyer was moved to a different table, and he still seemed to be in disbelief about the hand he played against Senie.

Baumann Takes a Hit

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Josef Gulas moved all in for 13,000 after a raise to 3,500 and Gaelle Baumann made the call. The third player involved called as well, and the flop brought out {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}.

Baumann made a bet on the flop and her opponent folded, creating a heads-up showdown.

Baumann: {J-Spades}{J-Diamonds}
Gulas: {A-Clubs}{9-Hearts}

The board ran out {9-Spades}, {Q-Diamonds} and Baumann took a hit to her stack while Gulas was gifted another chance by the friendly nine on the turn.

Soika Applies Pressure on Aido

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Sergio Aido raised before the flop and Ihar Soika three-bet two seats on his left to 10,500. The action folded back to Aido and he made the call.

The flop came down {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs} and Aido check-called 11,000, after which the {8-Spades} hit on the turn. Aido checked again on the turn and Soika put him all in for his last 48,000 chips.

Aido gave it some thought before folding, and Soika raked in this pot without showdown.
