There are two short stacks remaining in Jesus Gracia and Christopher Gordon, though the Spaniard has the unlucky constellation to sit next to chip leader Laurence Essa. Gordon opened to 100,000 from under the gun and was called by Essa on the button as well as Darren Mapley in the big blind.
On a flop of 
the action was checked to Gordon and his continuation bet of 180,000 got through. Since the blinds get eaten every orbit though, it is still a fight for survival to the extreme.

Shortly after, Essa raised to 125,000 again and Petrit Papushi three-bet small to 250,000. Again Essa moved all in and Papushi tanked for more than one minute before making the call and turning over

The action folded around to Lucio Pacifico and he moved all in for 605,000 from the cutoff. Chip leader Laurence Essa asked for a count and then made the call whereas everyone else got out of the way.

river. Pacifico headed to the payout desk to collect £3,740 for his seventh place finish.

Laurence Essa was the preflop aggressor and got called by Darren Mapley on the button as well as Petrit Papushi in the small blind. Papushi check-folded the 
flop but Mapley stuck around and called the continuation bet of his opponent for 150,000. On the turn, Essa fired 450,000 and was called before making it another 700,000 to go after the river.
This time it proved to be too much for Mapley and he mucked his cards. It was the first bigger pot that the two chip leaders had played against each other on the final table.
