No Big Chip Leader Yet

Level 14 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Ali Zihni saw a four-way pot to the {4-Hearts} {8-Clubs} {7-Spades} {3-Spades} {9-Spades} river and bet 10,000 out of the small blind. Only the opponent on the button eventually called and then mucked when Zihni showed the {7-Clubs} {9-Clubs} for two pair.

Zihni is among the bigger stacks in the room right now, Laurence Essa and Peteris Berzins cannot complain much about their day thus far either.

Kamel Cannot Flush Gormati

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Jamal Gormati raised to 6,500 and called the three-bet of Tamer Kamel to 17,500, heading to a flop of {A-} {Q-} {X-}. Gormati check-called a bet of 17,500 and checked the {10-Hearts} turn as well. Kamel moved all in for 90,000 with {K-Hearts} {5-Hearts} for the flush draw and gutshot, but failed to improve against the flopped set of queens of Gormati. The river was a {2-Clubs}, the ultimate blank.

At the same table, one of the remaining women has a very solid stack: Kelly Ann Saxby.

Peleckas Falls to Mapley

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

In a battle of the blinds, Deividas Peleckas got involved into a raising war out of the big blind after having found middle pair with {9-} {7-} and Darren Mapley eventually called his shove with {A-} {8-} for top pair with the eight. Neither the turn or river changed anything and Peleckas was heading to the rail. Mapley isn't the biggest stack at his table though, as Alexandra O'Brien has slightly more.

Henrik Nielsen and Robert Glen were also among the recent bustouts.

Rochira Busts Mcdonald and Kassouf

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

After a three-way all in, Antonio Rochira had Richard Mcdonald and William Kassouf at risk and showed the dominating hand in {K-Hearts} {A-Diamonds}. Kassouf was hoping for a queen with {A-Clubs} {Q-Spades} and Mcdonald held {K-Clubs} {Q-Clubs}. There would be no help for either short stack on a board of {9-Diamonds} {4-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {8-Clubs} {7-Hearts} and that was it.

Working on a Miracle

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Lucio Pacifico first doubled up with {8-Clubs} {8-Spades} after Sandra Reid had pushed out another opponent and only showed king-high. Pacifico then had {5-Clubs} {5-Spades} and would double up again for around 24,000 chips.

Tuna On the Up

Level 13 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Gabriel Tuna three-bet with {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts} and called the four-bet shove of an opponent, who held {Q-} {J-}. The 2014 WPTN London winner spiked two pair on the flop and that did the trick.

Berzins With Queens

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

After the turn of a {9-} {9-} {10-} {7-} board, Mortaza Sahibzada moved all in with {K-} {J-} after Peteris Berzins had raised from under the gun. Berzins called with pocket queens and held up to score the knockout.
