Reid Cripples Pacifico

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Day 1a chip leader Lucio Pacifico moved all in after a flop of {3-Spades} {7-Spades} {4-Diamonds} for 46,100 out of the small blind and Sandra Reid as initial preflop aggressor gave it some thought before sliding the chips forward. Reid tabled the {A-Hearts} {10-Spades} for ace-high and Pacifico held {5-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} for a gutshot and a pair of fives.

The {6-Spades} turn and the {4-Spades} river delivered a four card flush for Reid and left Pacifico with dust.

Smith Busts to Nguyen

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

Stephen Smith raised to 6,000 from early position and called the three-bet to 12,000 by Xuan Nguyen to see a ten-high flop with two diamonds. Smith open-shoved with {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} for the flush draw and two over cards, but couldn't better the pocket queens of Nguyen anymore after two bricks on turn and river.

O'Brien Promises to Return with a Dirndl

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 400 ante

After a flop of {10-Spades} {K-Spades} {6-Hearts}, Alexandra O'Brien made a continuation bet for 9,500 from under the gun and Deividas Peleckas check-raised to 35,000 out of the small blind. The German eventually folded and then said in chat to us that she would wear a Dirndl tomorrow if she is still in. Fingers crossed!

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Aaron Delaney was all in and at risk preflop for 24,000 with {A-Diamonds} {10-Diamonds} in the very last hand before the break and faced the {A-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} of [Removed:321] Taghipour Fard. The board ran out {8-Clubs} {9-Clubs} {9-Spades} {K-Diamonds} {7-Diamonds} and the better kicker played to result in yet another seat open.
