Two Barrels by Atoui

Level 3 : 75/150, 25 ante

After a raise by a player in late position, Kamel Atoui three-bet to 800 and was called by the initial raiser. Atoui and his opponent saw a flop of {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and the Frenchman continued with a barrel worth 1,100, his opponent called.

The {7-Spades} fell on the turn and, after yet another check, Atoui bet 3,300 to win the pot without showdown upon firing a second barrel.

Tosques Caught Bluffing

Level 3 : 75/150, 25 ante

On the tail end of a hand between Francois Tosques and Jonathan Therme, the latter bet twice the pot on the river of a board {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Spades}{J-Diamonds} for 4,200. Therme called and was shown {Q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} for a busted gutshot and queen-high only while Therme raked in the pot with {A-Spades}{J-Spades} for top pair.

Tosques could all but grin and received no answer to his table chat ... . Next to Tosques is Romain Lewis on bullet number two and the Frenchman is one of two players so far to have re-entered the competition.

After the {2-Clubs} river, Linard bet 8,200 into a pot of 11,500 with about 11,500 behind and [Removed:126] talked through possible hands before tossing in a single chip for the call. Linard showed {K-Hearts}{Q-Spades} for top two and that won the pot.

[Removed:601] Among Early Casualties

Level 2 : 75/150, 0 ante

Down to around 12,000 the last time he was spotted, [Removed:599] had experienced a rough start and that would get even worse as he just exited the tournament area. [Removed:601] apparently called a shove on a {Q-}{J-}{8-} flop with queen-jack for two pair while his opponent had flopped bottom pair and a flush draw. Another eight on the turn gave the opponent trips and [Removed:601] was eliminated.
