Daher Folds to River Check-Raise

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Sergey Rybachenko and Albert Daher
Sergey Rybachenko and Albert Daher

Albert Daher, who has chipped up well so far this level, had fired 14,000 on a {7-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Hearts} board with Sergey Rybachenko flat-calling while Asaf Avci folded. The {Q-Clubs} turn saw both players check while Rybachenko checked for a third time on the {4-Hearts} river. Daher now bet 58,000 but Rybachenko check-raised all in for around 200,000.

Daher tanked for a few minutes before flashing {J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} to the people behind him, he then sent his cards sailing into the muck.

Tobias Peters

Tobias Peters has been knocked out after he bet all three streets of a {5-Spades}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} board with {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds} culminating in a river shove. Kayhan Tugrul quickly called though as he had floated the flop with {A-Clubs}{4-Clubs} before hitting a monster draw on the turn.

21 players now remain.

Shouman Survives

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Rami Shouman and Kayhan Tugrul got it all in pre flop. Turgal had Shouman’s 135000 well covered and turned over [ah 9] against the {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}. The board ran out {k-Spades}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and Shouman stayed alive.

Jacoues Torbey Doubles Up in Bizarre Hand

Level 17 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Natalya Nikitina opened to 13,000 and was called by Bernard Samaha and Kfir Yamin. It was Jacoues Torbey’s turn to act and he moved all in for the last of his chips, 69,500 exactly. This surprised Nikitina who had to think for a while before moving all in as well. Samaha quickly folded but Yamin agonised over the decision. He pointed at Torbey and said, “You I snap call.” The pointed at Nikitina, “But you?” He flashed {9-}{9-} and folded.

Torbey turned over {a-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}, Nikitina had {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}. A board of {7-Clubs}{k-Spades}{8-Spades}{a-Hearts}{3-Hearts} had Nikitina shaking her head as she handed over the chips

A few hands later on a board of {3-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Clubs} Torbey led from the small blind into Nikitina and she moved all in. He folded {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} face up.

Manig Loeser

On the turn of a {10-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{7-Spades}{K-Spades} board, Manig Loeser moved all in for his last 65,000. Asaf Avci made the call and Albert Daher thought about it, but decided to fold.

Loeser: {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Avci: {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The river was the {7-Clubs} and Loeser couldn't improve, instead going out in 23rd place.
