PokerNews Video: Greg Raymer Talks Legal Shennanigans

On the first break, PokerNews spotted Greg Raymer as the only player still in the tournament area. He was diligently reading the release form that was passed out to all players, and that most players signed without even reading. We asked the former patent attorney about release form rights, and about the legality of repping for an online poker site.

David Williams Takes Down a Pot

Five players see a limped flop, including Shannon Shorr from middle position and David Williams from the big blind.

Flop comes {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}. Williams leads out for 900, only Shorr calls.

Turn is {7-Diamonds}. Williams checks, Shorr checks.

River is {J-Clubs}. Williams leads out for 2600 into a pot of 3325. Shannon thinks for about two minutes, asks what the next blind level is; Arnold Spee tells him it is 200-400. Shannon counts his chips multiple times and eventually folds. David Willams collects the 3325 chip pot and now sits with 25,700.

Layne Flack Puts on a Bluffing Clinic

Seven people limped into a pot including Nam Le on the button with 1100 chips. Layne Flack called from the big blind with 28K.

The flop was {9-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} and Layne tossed out a 1K chip. The first four limpers fold. The CO went into the tank, then folded. Nam Le asked the dealer to spread the pot. He thought about calling then folded. Layne Flack flipped over {6-Spades}{2-Spades} and said, "That's how you bluff nine players, boys!"

Dinner Plans?

On a board of {9-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} an unknown player bets 1800 and Bill Edler pushes all in for his remaining 6500. The unknown thinks...and thinks...and thinks... and finally folds.

Edler quips to his opponent "I didn't want to ask you what your dinner plans were."
