The Blind Battling the Blind

Level 26 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Another battle of the blinds.

Mark Sykes opened the pot to 62,000 from the small, and Brandon Croft called from the big to go heads up to a flop. It came {Q-Hearts} {9-Spades} {8-Clubs}, and Sykes continued out with 65,000 more chips. Croft took pause before raising to 150,000, and Sykes tanked for a couple long minutes before making the call.

That led them to the {5-Hearts} turn, and Sykes checked. Croft's response was an all-in shove for more than 400,000. Sykes gave it another long look but he could not call. His cards went into the muck, and that pot puts both he and Croft right at 880,000 chips.
