Four More Levels

Level 24 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Tournament officials have announced that they will be playing four more levels before bagging and tagging. Play will end at approximately 4 a.m. CST.

Level: 24

Blinds: 8,000/16,000

Ante: 2,000

Crain Can't Bluff All the Time

Level 23 : 7,000/14,000, 2,000 ante

Eric Crain and another player went to a flop of {J-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds} {9-Diamonds}. The player checked and Crain bet 125,000. His opponent then min-raised to 250,000 and Crain asked how much he had behind - which was about 340,000. Crain moved all in and his opponent was unsure what to do.

He eventually folded and Crain looked at us and flashed his hand and said, "Showing to the camera."

Crain told his opponent he made a good lay down and asked for us to confirm.

"We can't say either way," we told the table.

But it was a good lay down by Crain's opponent.

Kroon Dispatches Finucane

Mark "P0ker H0" Kroon opened for 43,000 from early position and found a call from the player in the cutoff. Jeff Finucane was in the small blind and decided to commit his stack of 119,000 to the pot. Kroon then moved all in over the top, which isolated Finucane.

Showdown
Finucane: {J-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Kroon: {A-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

"You have an ace of clubs in there, don't you?" Kroon asked the dealer. While the {A-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop didn't provide the ace of clubs, it did give Kroon two pair. Neither the {6-Hearts} turn nor {6-Clubs} river helped Finucane, and he was dispatched in 48th place.

Overbet Much?

Erik Roussakis opened for 40,000 and Balla Iyer raised all in for just over 700,000. Roussakis was confused by the bet, but called.

Roussakis: {Q-Hearts} {Q-Spades}
Iyer: {A-Spades} {J-Diamonds}

The board ran {J-Clubs} {K-Clubs} {8-Spades} {9-Hearts} {7-Diamonds} and Roussakis joined the 2,000,000 chip club with a smile.
