Pete Rios opened from under the gun to 25,000 and got calls from Jesse Maupin, Abraham Araya and La Sengphet. The flop came and action checked all the way around.
The turn came , Araya and Sengphet checked from the blinds, Rios checked and Maupin bet 35,000. The blinds released and Rios called.
The river came , Rios checked and Maupin bet 80,000. Rios tanked for a short while and then called. Maupin tabled for a flopped full house and Rios mucked.
While we were buried with chip counts and table draws we missed a giant hand. We were told Caufman Talley and Jay Diaz got into a pocket kings vs pocket aces showdown, with Diaz's aces holding and doubling through Talley.
Every time we walk by La Sengphet's table she has more chips. On the last pass we counted her at a little more than 700,000. Which puts her even with Caufman Talley.
