Maupin Finds the Right Amount

Pete Rios opened from under the gun to 25,000 and got calls from Jesse Maupin, Abraham Araya and La Sengphet. The flop came {9-Clubs} {4-Hearts} {4-Clubs} and action checked all the way around.

The turn came {K-Hearts}, Araya and Sengphet checked from the blinds, Rios checked and Maupin bet 35,000. The blinds released and Rios called.

The river came {7-Diamonds}, Rios checked and Maupin bet 80,000. Rios tanked for a short while and then called. Maupin tabled {9-Hearts} {9-Diamonds} for a flopped full house and Rios mucked.

Huge Swing

While we were buried with chip counts and table draws we missed a giant hand. We were told Caufman Talley and Jay Diaz got into a pocket kings vs pocket aces showdown, with Diaz's aces holding and doubling through Talley.

Complete Redraw

Level 21 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The field has been trimmed to 27 players and as such the clock has been paused for a complete redraw. We'll have the new seating assignments shortly.

Sengphet On a Heater

Every time we walk by La Sengphet's table she has more chips. On the last pass we counted her at a little more than 700,000. Which puts her even with Caufman Talley.
