Nick Guagenti Eliminated in 8th Place ($49,075)

Nick Guagenti - 8th Place
Nick Guagenti - 8th Place

Nick Guagenti open-shoved his last 915,000 from under the gun, Sean Szurko called on his direct left, and the other six players folded.

Guagenti: {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Szurko: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}

The {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop changed little, and the {10-Clubs} spiked on the turn giving Szurko an unbeatable hand. Guagenti was already gathering his things as the {j-Diamonds} completed the board, and he's off to the cage to receive his $49,075 prize.

Erik Roussakis Eliminated in 9th Place ($39,168)

Erik Roussakis - 9th place
Erik Roussakis - 9th place

From middle position, Brad Albrinck raised to 160,000. Action then folded to Erik Roussakis in the cutoff seat, and he reraised all in for 1.145 million. Action folded back to Albrinck and he quickly made the call with the {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. Roussakis was at risk with the {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}.

On the flop, Albrinck's queens stayed in front as the {8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Spades} fell. The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and paired the board, which left Roussakis needing an ace on the river.

The {6-Hearts} finished off the board on fifth street, and that was the final blow to Roussakis as he was the first place eliminated at the final table.

Although Roussakis couldn't outdo his third-place run from last year, he did add another $39,168 to his bank account.

Claudia Crawford Eliminated in 10th Place ($31,565)

Claudia Crawford - 10th Place
Claudia Crawford - 10th Place

From under the gun, Claudia Crawford raised all in for 850,000. Action folded to Tripp Kirk on the button, and he announced a call. The two blinds folded and the cards were on their backs.

Crawford showed the {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, and she was up against the {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} for Kirk. Despite having just six high, Crawford was plenty live to double up.

The flop came down {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, and Crawford picked up an open-ended straight draw to increase her odds. The turn was the {Q-Clubs}, which left Crawford down to just one more card. She needed a three, a five, a six or an eight.

The river completed the board with the {4-Hearts} and paired the board. Crawford failed to hit what she needed and was eliminated in 10th place. She took home over $31,000 for her finish, while all of the remaining nine players have officially made the final table here in Hammond.

A 2 Million-Chip Pot for Williams

Josh Williams
Josh Williams

Sean Szurko opened to 100,000 from the hijack seat, Josh Williams three-bet to 225,000 from the small blind, and Erik Roussakis cold four-bet to 550,000 from the big blind. Szurko quickly got out of the way, and Williams went into the tank. After the better part of a minute, he called, and the dealer fanned {2-Spades}{a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}.

Williams checked, and Roussakis quickly slid out what looked like 575,000. Williams sat quietly, riffling a handful of blue T25,000 chips with his hand, and eventually uttered, "All in."

Roussakis looked stunned. He quickly counted how many chips he had since Williams had him covered, and mulled the decision over for less than a minute before folding {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} face up.

Williams mucked his hand face down, and raked in the massive pot.

Joshua Reichard - 11th place

Ryan Riess and Joshua Reichard were heads up in a raised pot with the flop reading {10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Riess put out a bet, Reichard moved all in, and Riess snapped it off.

Riess: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}
Reichard: {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

"No nine!" Reiss shouted.

The turn and river bricked {6-Diamonds}, {8-Spades} respectively, and Reichard was eliminated.

We are now down to a ten-handed, unofficial final table. We'll have the redraw for you shortly.

Christopher Underwood Eliminated in 12th Place ($31,565)

Christopher Underwood - 12th place
Christopher Underwood - 12th place

Christopher Underwood open-jammed for just over 1 million chips from under the gun, and the action folded to Shiva Dudani who went deep into the tank. After more than two minutes of thought, he finally made the call.

Underwood: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Dudani: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}

The {q-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop gave Dudani a leading pair of queens, and Underwood didn't improve on the turn ({5-Diamonds}) or the river [{7-Diamonds}]. Underwood, who finished 18th in this year's Senior's Event at the WSOP, earns $31,565 for his 12th-place finish.

John Bitakis Eliminated in 14th Place ($25,805)

John Bitakis - 14th place
John Bitakis - 14th place

John Bitakis open-shoved for around 500,000 from under the gun, and two spots to his left, Joshua Reichard re-jammed. The action behind folded, and the hands were opened.

Bitakis: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}
Reichard: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

"I'm live," Bitakis said. "No spades."

There was only one spade on the flop, but the {k-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{a-Diamonds} flop gave Reichard top two pair. The {a-Clubs} on the turn gave him a full house, eliminating Bitakis from the tournament, and the {10-Clubs} completed the board.

Reichard is up to 2.15 million, while Bitakis is out.

Rob Zazay Eliminated in 15th Place ($25,805)

Rob Zazay - 15th place
Rob Zazay - 15th place

Tripp Kirk opened to 80,000 from middle positon, Rob Zazay three-bet to 150,000 from the big blind, and Kirk made the call. The flop fell {a-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{q-Clubs}, and Zazay led for 130,000.

After 30 seconds or so, Kirk moved all in for effectively 900,000, and Zazay unhappily mucked {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} face up. Kirk showed {7-}{7-} for a set of sevens.

Two hands later, the action folded to Zazay who min-raised on the button. Erik Roussakis, who finished third in this event last year, three-bet to 220,000, and Zazay moved all in. Roussakis snapped it off.

Zazay: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Roussakis: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

The {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop was dry, but the {k-Clubs} ripped off on the turn, giving Roussakis a pair of kings. The {q-Diamonds} completed the board, and Zazay was eliminated in 15th place.
