Over-a-ton of Chips

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

After an early-position raise to an unknown amount, Aaron Overton made it 1,400 to go from the button. The small blind peeked at his cards and moved out a four-bet to 3,500. The original raiser folded and action was back on Overton. He stared his opponent down for a good twenty seconds before finally making the call.

The two took a flop of {9-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}, and Overton's opponent let for 4,000. Overton flatted to see the {8-Diamonds} land on the turn. A check prompted Overton to bet 3,800. His opponent snap-shoved all in, and Overton went into the tank for roughly ninety seconds before calling to find that he was behind.

Overton: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Opponent: {K-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

Overton was looking to make a set or hit his open-ended straight draw on the river. The {J-Spades} completed the straight Overton needed, and he shook his opponent's hand before stacking all of his chips. With the player eliminated, Overton is now sporting roughly 55,000.

MacKinnon Gets Set Up

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

DJ MacKinnon led out for what looked like 1,350 on a board of {j-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades}{8-Clubs}. His opponent tanked for a bit, then raised to 2,700. MacKinnon tanked for a bit himself, then called.

The {6-Hearts} completed the board, MacKinnon checked, and the player checked behind. MacKinnon quickly flipped over the {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks, and there was a beat before his opponent tabled {5-}{5-} for a set of fives.

MacKinnon, who was visibly annoyed with what he thought was a slow roll, mucked his hand high into the air as the pot was pushed his opponent's way.

Jerry Yang opened to 450 from middle position, the player in the cutoff called, and the rest of the table released.

The dealer brought forth a flop of {3-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{6-Clubs}, and Yang continued for 550. His opponent flat-called to see the {10-Hearts} hit fourth street. Yang bet 1,000, and his opponent raised to 2,750. Roughly one minute passed before Yang announced a raise back over the top to 6,000 total. Yang's opponent quickly threw his hand away, and the world champion took down the pot.
