Boukaddeda Busts Mehalleg

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Ahmed Boukaddeda raised and then called the three-bet shove of Mohamed Mehalleg from one seat over for around 100,000 in chips with {A-Clubs} {K-Diamonds}. Mehalleg had a coin flip for his tournament life with {10-Spades} {10-Diamonds} but already sighed and grabbed his belongings after spotting the {J-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {J-Clubs} flop.

Neither the {J-Spades} turn nor the {2-Hearts} river improved his hand anymore and Mehalleg headed to the rail in 33rd place.

Kaabat Wins Flip

Level 22 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Aly Chahrour had busted before the break still to reduce the field to 33 and Fahd Kaabat was the next player at risk, pushing his last 115,000 preflop with {A-Diamonds} {Q-Spades}. Mohamed Sekkat had the {8-Clubs} {8-Spades} and didn't hold up on a board of {3-Clubs} {A-Spades} {K-Diamonds} {9-Hearts} {7-Diamonds}.

Final Break of Day 2

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

The players have been sent into a 15-minute break and two more levels are scheduled before it is time to catch some sleep. There are still 34 hopefuls to take a shot at the World Series of Poker Circuit Ring.

Huge Pot for Makiadi

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Manuel Makiadi limped and Gabriel Jimenez raixsed to 25,000, which was met with a squeeze by Makiadi to 60,000. Jimenez called and then faced three barrels worth 50,000, 160,000 and 320,000 on a board of {J-Diamonds} {6-Hearts} {4-Clubs} {7-Spades} {3-Hearts}.

The last bet on the river left Jimenez in the think tank but he apparently made the call with {7-} {8-} only to see Makiadi turn over {A-Hearts} {A-Spades} and scoop a massive pot.

The Run Good of Jimenez is Over

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Manuel Makiadi raised to 25,000 from the hijack and was called by Gabriel Jimenez on the button to set up a heads-up flop of {10-Hearts} {4-Hearts} {6-Clubs}. Makiadi bet 30,000 and Jimenez raised to 80,000 before the Frenchman moved all in. Jimenez asked for a count and then called for 339,000 with {J-Hearts} {8-Hearts}.

Makiadi held the {10-Spades} {6-Spades} and locked up the double with the {10-Clubs} turn, the {4-Diamonds} river was only a formality.

Cardoso Simoes and Naya Bust

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

After a flop of {8-Hearts} {9-Clubs} {10-Spades}, Nuno Daniel Cardoso Simoes was all in with his short stack and the {Q-Hearts} {J-Clubs}. Gabriel Jimenez called with {10-Hearts} {8-Clubs} and immediately found the {8-Diamonds} on the turn to send yet another player to the rail. The {6-Hearts} river was meaningless and shortly after, Adrian Naya also ran out of chips.

Last Four Tables

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Jose Henrique Braz, Abdessamade El Mzdadi and Soufiane Abbouti are the next three players to join the rail. One of them fell victim to Robert Giordano, who flat-called a raise to 80,000 out of the small blind by a player that had only 35,000 behind. On an eight-high flop the opponent then pushed with {A-} {10-} and Giordano called with pocket jacks including the {J-Clubs} to score the knockout.

Alilovic Sends Omais to the Rail

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Abdel Omais
Abdel Omais

Miroslav Alilovic called a raise by Abdel Omais to 30,000 out of middle position and the two of them saw a flop of {J-Clubs} {6-Diamonds} {K-Hearts}. A continuation bet of 30,000 chips is called and the {A-Spades} turn then set fireworks.

Omais check-raised to 117,000 and then called the shove of Alilovic with {A-} {J-} only to see his opponent turn over {A-} {K-}. The {3-Clubs} river was a typical blank and Alilovic jumped into the chip lead.

Da Costa Ferrao Crippled and Out

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Goncalo da Costa Ferrao was all in from under the gun and Inigo Montoya also put his stack at risk from one seat over with slightly less chips. Montoya held the {A-Clubs} {K-Diamonds} and left Ferrao's {K-Spades} {K-Clubs} drawing dead by the turn of a {5-Spades} {A-Diamonds} {7-Spades} {A-Hearts} {5-Clubs} board.

Ferrao was all in out of the big blind the next hand with {K-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} and Thierry Gogniat sent him to the rail with {K-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} after a board of {5-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {8-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {Q-Hearts}.
