Marek Tatar open-shoved for 900,000. Georgios Vrakas reshoved to put Tatar at risk.
Marek Tatar:
Georgios Vrakas:
A queen on the flop basically sealed it for Vrakas, and the queen on the turn was just icing on the cake. Tatar saw his great run come to an end in 10th place.
WIth just two big blinds left, Yehuda Cohen found his first of what will probably have to be many double-ups. With , he was all in against Moussa Khanafer's . A queen on the flop gave Cohen not just a double, but a near triple-up.
Being left crippled after the previous hand, Martin Dragun shoved his remaining chips in the middle. Marco Topic wanted to finish what he had begun and called the shove.
Martin Dragun:
Marco Topic:
There was nothing Dragun could do to avoid it, and solemnly he awaited his fate. The flop provided some excitement, but the turn and river weren't the outs he was looking for.
With Dragun's elimination, the 11 remaining players will go on dinner break with at least €16,250 locked up.
From the cutoff, Michal Kadziela shoved his entire stack of 970,000 in the middle. Action folded to Hennig Wendlandt in the big blind, who looked at his cards and briefly paused.
The Austrian didn't seem too pleased with the situation, but still decided to call it off.
Michal Kadziela:
Henning Wendlandt:
Kadziela took a commanding lead after the flop. The on the turn secured the double-up for the Polish player, who already won a WSOP Circuit ring earlier this week in a Seven Card Stud event.
Mihai Croitoru limped in for 50,000 on the button. Oliver Classen shoved a little over 1,100,000 from the small blind. Croitoru gave it some thought, then elected to call it off to put Classen at risk.
Oliver Classen:
Mihai Croitoru:
Croitoru was ahead with the better kicker, but Classen had a decent chance to chop the pot. However, those chop outs were marginalized after the flop, as the two undercards put Croitoru's kicker in play.
The on the turn left Classen drawing to one of the remaining sevens, but the on the river wasn't what he needed. The German took home €13,852 for his 13th place finish.
