Break

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

The 45 remaining players are on their final 15-minute break of the day. After the break, one more level will be played until chips are bagged for the night.

El Salsero With Some Magic

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

Teun Mulder opened to 7,500 in middle position. A player shoved 46,500 from the small blind and Jer El Salsero went in the tank in the big blind. He leaned back and slowly, over the course of multiple minutes, counted out the calling chips.

It took nearly three minutes before El Salsero had slid in a call, which was for more than half his stack. Mulder snap-folded.

Jer El Salsero: {K-Clubs}{K-Hearts}
Small blind: {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

El Salsero's kings remained ahead as the {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{3-Clubs} board promoted El Salsero to a flush.

The flamboyant Dutchman got called out by his tablemates after the hand, who weren't all too pleased with El Salsero taking that long.

"What am I supposed to do guys?" shrugged El Salsero, who is up to 140,000 after the hand.

Bensimhon Five-Bets

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante

After Agshin Ahmadli had opened from under the gun and Ben Bensimhon had three-bet on the button, action was back on Ahmadli. The local cut out a four-bet to 33,900, Bensimhon responded with a five-bet to 68,000, and Ahmadli folded after some thought.

Bayley Flops Set; Eliminates Zoufri In Big Clash

Level 15 : 1,500/3,000, 400 ante
Hakim Zoufri
Hakim Zoufri

Hakim Zoufri, who won the €3,500 WSOPC High Roller earlier this week for €69,888, has been eliminated from the Main Event in a massive pot against Lawrence Bayley.

After Bayley had opened, Zoufri three-bet on the button with {J-}{J-}. Bayley four-bet shoved more than 100,000 and Zoufri called, creating one of the biggest pots of the tournament thus far.

Bayley held {6-}{6-} and flopped the {6-} he needed to eliminate the Dutchman before the money.

Ahmadli Gives Adriaans A Headache

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

At the feature table, Egi Adriaans and Agshin Ahmadli were locking horns and created a pot of already 60,000. The board was reading {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and Adriaans, from under the gun, bet 16,200.

Ahmadli put in a raise to 42,200, which gave Adriaans a visible headache. He slumped back in his chair and tried to figure out what to do. Eventually, Adriaans called the clock on himself, then folded his hand.

Post No Longer Delivered

Level 14 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Freerk Post
Freerk Post

Freerk Post open-shoved from late position. Niko Mykkanen called in the big blind to put Post at risk.

Freerk Post: {K-}{J-}
Niko Mykkanen: {A-Clubs}{7-Spades}

Post improved from six to nine outs on the {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} flop. Those outs remained in the deck, as the {9-Diamonds} turn and {10-Spades} river didn't provide any help. Post, a six-time winner in Holland Casino, finished in 54th place.
