Flesar With the Squeeze Shove

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Piotr Brodzik opened for 20,000 and got a call from Jeremy Williams. Marian Flesar was in the cut-off and he squeezed to 57,000 and the blinds folded.

Back to Brodzik and he called while Williams folded to get it heads up.

The flop was {3-Spades}{j-Hearts}{9-Spades} and a check from Brodzik saw Flesar asking how much his opponent had left. The answer was 105,000 and Flesar moved all in. Brodzik let it go.

Players Explode At Kabrhel

Level 21 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante

Martin Kabrhel opened the betting and then called a three-bet from Marek Tatar out of the big blind after some thought.

The flop was {k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{a-Spades} and Tatar bet 75,000. Kabrhel placed out the call with deliberation.

Before the dealer could place the turn card Tatar moved most of his stack across the line for around 125,000. The turn card was the {q-Clubs}.

Kabrhel moved all in and Tatar called for his remaining change.

Kabrhel tabled {j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for the straight. Tatar was part stunned, part incandescent with rage. It took him several moments to table his {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

The river was the {8-Diamonds} and Kabrhel took the rest of his chips. A volley of expletives form Tatar accompanied the stacking of his chips and it was a couple of minutes before he left the table.

As the next hand was being dealt Kabrhel asked to see another opponent’s stack, which he does a lot, and this time the player lost his temper insisting he would not repeatedly give him a count. Kabrhel argued that the stack was being hidden by his opponent’s hands.

Aces For Bui Hai

Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

If you’re the big stack at the table you could say you have earned the right to play any two cards and put pressure on your opponents. After all you’re not going broke in one hand.

Ngoc Bui Hai opened from under the gun and picked up a solitary caller from the big blind.

The flop was {5-Clubs}{10-Spades}{5-Hearts} and it was checked to Bui Hai who casually C-bet for 61,000 and got a quick fold.

A pained expression crossed the chip leader’s face as he threw his {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} face up on the table.

Ngoc Bui Hai Eliminates Two Players and Moves Up Over One Million Chips

Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

A player opened to 16,000 from early position. Ngoc Bui Hai called and it folded to Yehuda Cohen in the cutoff who moved all in for 70,000. Gerhard Schubert was in the big blind and four-bet all in for 467,000. The original raiser folded and after some consideration, Bui Hai called.

Bui Hai: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Cohen: {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}
Schubert: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

The board ran out {10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Cohen was eliminated. Bui Hai covered Schubert by only 12,000 chips and Schubert was eliminated as well, meaning Bui Hai is the first player up over 1,000,000 in chips.

The jump after that is 39th for €4,750.

We Three Queens

Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Lukasz Wasek checked it over to Athanasios Zachros on an intriguing flop of {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}.

Zachros bet 42,000 and Wasek called.

The turn card was the {3-Clubs} and a check again from Wasek saw Zachros move all in for around 200,000.

Wasek looked a combination of pained, tired, confused and curious. He gave it a minutes thought before looking back at his cards and giving it up.

Neither player showed their hand.

Wilhelm Isaak Eliminated; Kopyl Bags Chiplead

Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

The flop came {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. Isaak bet 60,000 and Kopyl called. The turn brought the {7-Clubs}. Isaak moved all in for 120,000 and Kopyl called.

Kopyl: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}
Isaak: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

The river is the {q-Clubs} and Isaak is eliminated.
