Van der Marel Eliminates Van Brugge

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Kees van Brugge
Kees van Brugge

Nick van der Marel eliminated Kees van Brugge after they got it in on the {A-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop. Van der Marel was drawing to a backdoor flush with {K-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and Van Brugge had top pair holding {A-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and was well in the lead.

The turn was the {8-Clubs} and Van der Marel was staying alive and needed a club on the river to eliminate Van Brugge. The river was indeed a club as the dealer put down the {Q-Clubs} as the fifth card on the board and Van Brugge was eliminated from the tournament.

Chati Gets Respect

Level 10 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Farid Chati
Farid Chati

Farid Chati raised from the under the gun position to 2,300 and it folded around to Michael Kooijman in middle position. He called and the rest of the players got out of the way.

The flop came down {6-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Chati continued with a bet of 2,000. Kooijman folded and Chati showed {9-Clubs}{6-Clubs}, which he raised from under the gun preflop.

Rene Kuhlman sat next to Chati on his left side and said "I gave you respect and now you randomly pull this move?"

Chati responded with "I had a strong hand".

There is a lot of table talk going on at the table of Chati since most players on that table already knew each other.

Mark Radoja
Mark Radoja

Mark Radoja raised from late position and both of the blinds got out of the way to award the Canadian two-time bracelet winner with yet another pot. Radoja started the day with a little less than 100,000 but has now well over it.

Leonardo Armino busted out from the featured table after starting the tournament very short and on the other side of the spectrum, we see Gregor Prizmic-Martini without any chips. Prizmic-Martini told he ran two bluffs and then lost his last chips with a set.
