Stimac Eliminates Lloyd

Level 3 : 75/150, 0 ante
London Lloyd
London Lloyd

The player in the under-the-gun position raised to 300 and was called by Ringo Stimac in mid-position. London Lloyd raised to 1,500 from the button. The initial raiser folded and Stimac called.

They both checked through the {A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Hearts} on the flop to the {Q-Spades} on the turn. Stimac bet 1,500, Lloyd raised to 4,100 and Stimac called.

The river completed the board with the {a-Clubs}, Stimac checked. Lloyd shoved for 13,300 in total. Stimac considered all his options and asked for a count. The dealer confirmed the amount. After tanking for a bit, Stimac decided to call. Lloyd showed {Q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} for the full house, queens over aces. Stimac had the better hand though with {a-Spades}{5-Spades} for a better full house, aces over fives. Lloyd stared at the board, the dealer shoved the pot towards Stimac and Lloyd slowly made his way away from the table and tournament area.
