Kos Wins Of Begovic

Level 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Sebastian Kos raised to 17,000 from the cutoff and was called by Amar Begovic in the small blind. Andreas Michelmann was sitting in the big blind with a short stack and was up for a decision. After calculating things over in his head, he decided to fold.

The flop came {q-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Spades} and both Begovic and Kos checked.

The turn brought them the {8-Hearts}, Begovic bet 16,000 and Kos called.

The {8-Spades} on the river completed the board and they both checked again. Begovic tabled {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} but was beaten by Kos' {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}.

Jakub Senk: {k-Spades}{9-Spades}
Pierre Neuville: {10-Spades}{q-Clubs}

The river was the {j-Clubs} and Neuville's trips meant he doubled up. "I've been between 3-10 big blinds all day," said the Belgian.

Omer Yoruk limped in middle position and Daniele Linciano raised to 16,000. The big blind called, as did Yoruk. The flop came {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and it checked to Linciano who bet 8,000. Yoruk was the only caller.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and Yoruk bet 15,000. Linciano called. The river was the {k-Clubs}. Yoruk bet 27,000 and Linciano thought before raising all in. Yoruk snap-called.

Daniele Linciano: {j-Diamonds}{9-Spades} - king-high straight
Omer Yoruk: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} - ace-high straight

Linciano still has chips after this clash of straights, with Yoruk moving up to over 300,000; not bad for someone who registered at the start of Day 2!

Singh Wins in the End

Level 19 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

The board read {4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Kandola Parminder Singh had bet 25,000 in a substantial pot already. Martin Kabrhel was barraging Singh with all kinds of questions about his hand. Singh gave it back as well as he could. After quite a while, the clock was called on Kabrhel by several players. Before the floor could give him a countdown, Kabrhel called.

The river completed the board with a {5-}. Singh checked. Kabrhel also checked. Singh showed {2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} for the flopped set and that was enough to make Kabrhel muck his hand even though he claimed he had sucked out and hit a straight on the river.

Immediately after the hand was over, the table was broken and Kabrhel and Josef Vogel were moved to the feature table.
