Petrillo Connects With Flop to Bust Opponent

Level 8 : 300/600, 600 ante

In a preflop all in Ben Petrillo called the all in of his opponent after the clock was called on him.

Ben Petrillo: {k-}{q-}
Opponent: {a-}{k-}

However, the flop came down fortuitously for him as the dealer spread out {q-}{7-}{3-} to pair the queen. The turn was a {3-}, the river came a {j-}, and Petrillo busted his opponent while adding a good chunk to his stack.

Sheaves Shifts Gears on Johnson

Level 7 : 300/500, 500 ante

Three players went to the flop after a preflop raise to 4,000 was put in by all three players. The flop came {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}.

Warren Sheaves was first to act and checked. Charles Johnson bet 8,000 which forced the third player in the hand out and Sheaves tossed in the call.

The turn was the {j-Diamonds}. Sheaves turned the tables and led out with a bet of 9,000. Johnson leaned back for a few seconds before announcing a fold to allow Sheaves to take the chips.

Feder Victimized By Better Straight

Level 6 : 200/400, 400 ante

The flop read {5-}{9-}{8-}. Brett Feder was facing off with his opponent who ended up all in with a short stack of around 13,000. Feder called and showed that he was ahead after flopping the nuts with the {7-}{6-}.

His opponent did have outs however as he held the {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. The turn was the {j-Diamonds} and the river came a {q-} to bring home the better straight for his opponent and take a chunk of chips from Feder's stack.
