Zou Put Into the Tank by Stone

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Nikolas Stone raised to 100,000 on the button, and Henry Zou called in the small blind.

Zou checked the {k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop to Stone, who bet 125,000. Zou check-raised to 300,000, and Stone responded with a three-bet shove for 1.195 million.

Zou went into the tank for five minutes, stacking up the amount to call while counting up his remaining 1.01 million in chips. He finally announced, "Fold," and Stone responded by flashing the {k-Spades} before pulling in the pot.

"I had one too!" Zou told Stone.

Brett Apter Eliminated in 7th Place ($20,151)

Level 27 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Brett Apter
Brett Apter

Brett Apter jammed for 760,000 from the cutoff on the very first hand of the day, and Matthew Levin called on the button.

Brett Apter: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Matthew Levin: {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}

Levin spiked a jack on the {9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop, and Apter was unable to improve on the {4-Clubs} turn and {k-Spades} river, leaving him out the door one hand into Day 3.

Who Will Walk Away With the $138,317 Top Prize at the 2019 WSOPC Potawatomi Main Event Final Table?

James Pupillo
James Pupillo

447 entrants ponied up $1,700 to enter the 2019 WSOPC Potawatomi Main Event, and after two Day 1 flights and a long Day 2, just seven players remain to battle it out for the $138,317 grand prize, along with a WSOPC ring and entry into the 2020 WSOPC Global Championship. The remaining seven players have already locked up $20,151 in prize money, but will be looking to ladder up, and with the average stack just over forty big blinds, there's still plenty of room for play.

Leading the charge into the final table is Chicago's Richard Bai, who used a massive win with aces to fuel his way to a stack of 3,380,000. That's nearly a million more than his next two closest competitors, Jorden Helstern (2,515,000) and Matthew Levin (2,475,000).

One tier down in terms of chips sit Henry Zou (1,775,000) and James Pupillo (1,450,000), who sit below average but still have plenty of chips to maneuver with. The short stacks are Nikolas Stone (1,100,000) and WSOP Bracelet winner Brett Apter (760,000).

Cards will be in the air at Noon local time, with play resuming at Level 27 (25,000/50,000 with a 50,000 big blind ante), and levels will be one-hour in length until a winner is crowned. A fifteen-minute break will be given to players every two levels. Stay tuned to PokerNews as we capture all the action straight from the final table until our latest WSOPC Main Event champion is crowned!
