Dargin Doubles Through Lauson

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Randall Dargin got his last 32,000 in from the big blind on a {10-Spades}{3-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} flop, and Travis Lauson had him at risk on the button.

Randall Dargin: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}
Travis Lauson: {j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}

Lauson's top pair was behind the aces of Dargin, and the {k-Spades} turn and {6-Spades} river left Dargin sighing with relief, as he doubled up and avoided being the bubble boy.

Level 17 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Kou Vang in previous action
Kou Vang in previous action

Josh Reichard raised to 18,000 from the small blind, and Kou Vang called in the big blind.

Reichard led out for 16,000 on the {6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop, and Vang called.

The {10-Hearts} fell on the turn, and Reichard bet 36,000. Vang called again.

Reichard jammed for Vang's last 96,000 on the {k-Diamonds} river, and Vang snap-called, tabling {7-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for the nuts. Reichard's {10-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} went in the muck, and Vang raked in a big bubble double.

Apter Applies Max Pressure on Ditrapani

Level 17 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Brett Apter raised to 12,000 from under the gun, and was called by Richard Bai in middle position, as well as Nicola Ditrapani in the big blind.

Ditrapani checked the {2-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Spades} flop to Apter, who bet 12,000. Bai folded and Ditrapani called.

On the {9-Diamonds} turn, Ditrapani checked, and Apter moved all in, putting Ditrapani at risk for his last 130,000. Ditrapani tanked for a few minutes, then folded.

Apter allowed him to pick one card to see, and Ditrapani said, "One's the ace of spades."

Ditrapani then turned over the {a-Spades} from Apter's hand, much to the amusement of the table.

Edward Dixon Bubbles the 2019 WSOPC Potawatomi Main Event

Level 17 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Edward Dixon

Ravi Raghavan raised to 15,000 from the cutoff, and Edward Dixon three-bet shoved for 48,000 in the big blind. Raghavan called.

Edward Dixon: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}
Ravi Raghavan: {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}

"Bubble ain't burstin' this hand, boys!" Dixon said with a smile.

The {10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{k-Spades} flop propelled Raghavan to the lead, while Dixon still had plenty of outs with two overs and a gutshot. The {3-Hearts} turn and {9-Clubs} river bricked off for Dixon, however, and he swiftly hit the rail, while the remaining 68 players are guaranteed a $2,533 payday.

Players are off on a ten-minute break.

Wolff Scores Double Knockout

Level 17 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Michael Wolff open-jammed from early position. He was called by Greg Palecek and Gerald Heath from the blinds, both players were at rick holding less.

Michael Wolff: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}
Greg Palecek: {7-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}
Gerald Heath: {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}

The {3-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop was no help to either Palecek or Heath as it paired Wolff's ace.

The {10-Hearts} turn brought broadway outs for Heath but both players were eliminated after the {6-Spades} river completed the board.

Barfield's Boat Sails to a Double

Level 17 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Johnny Elliott raised to 12,000 from the small blind, then called a three-bet shove for 81,000 from Brent Barfield in the big blind.

Brent Barfield: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Johnny Elliott: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Elliott was left drawing slim after the {q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} flop gave Barfield two pair, and Barfield improved to a full house after the {4-Hearts} turn and {q-Diamonds} river to secure the double.

Michael Wolff in previous action
Michael Wolff in previous action

Michael Wolff jammed for his last 50,000 from the small blind, and Richard Bai called in the big blind.

Michael Wolff: {j-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Richard Bai: {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

Bai flopped a flush draw with the {3-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} flop, but it was the {a-Spades} turn that gave him the lead, and Wolff was unable to find a jack on the {8-Hearts} river to bust.
