Chip Counts from Table 41

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante

Rodriguez Leaves Jha Short

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante
Noel Rodriguez
Noel Rodriguez

Noel Rodriguez bet 600 from the big blind blind on a {a-Spades}{6-Clubs}{j-Hearts} flop, and Mrityunjay Jha called from the button.

Both players checked the {k-Diamonds} turn. The river brought the {7-Spades}, and Rodriguez engaged in a brief stare down of Jha before putting in a 3,000 bet. Jha folded, and he's down to his last 3,000 chips as Level 5 begins.

Ross Applies Preflop Pressure

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante
Eli Ross
Eli Ross

Eli Ross was in the hijack and opened to 600. Mrityunjay Jha called from the cutoff and Adam Demersseman put in a three-bet to 3,200 from the button. Ross confirmed the amount and went into the tank for a bit. After a few moments, he put out a four-bet to 9,700.

Jha quickly folded to put action back on Demersseman, who took about 20 seconds to count some of his chips before sending his cards to the muck. Ross then looked back at his cards as he awaited the pot.

"Show the bluff," prodded Demersseman. Ross sent his cards forward face down and stacked his newly-earned chips.

Tourney Reaches Three Tables

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante

The field has reached 18 players with Niv Decalo and Ray Villaman having joined within the last few minutes. Since the tournament is eight handed, there was another complete redraw. New seats will be provided before the completion of the current level.

Lancaster Fires Two

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante

Mike Lancaster raised to 600 from the cutoff and was called by Mike Heshmati, who was on the button. The players in the blinds folded and the flop fell {9-Spades}{k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. Lancaster made a continuation-bet of 600 and Heshmati thought for a few seconds before calling.

The turn came {q-Clubs} and Lancaster fired a second barrel for 1,500. Heshmati thought for a few seconds again and settled on a different decision than the prior street, sending his cards to the muck to result in Lancaster taking down the pot.

Big Pot for Brookshire

Level 4 : 100/200, 200 ante

With {9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} showing on the board, David Brookshire bet 20,000 into an already sizeable pot, after his opponent, Ray Villaman checked from the big blind.

Villaman thought it over for a bit, and showed the {9-Clubs} before folding, clearly exasperated. "Did you get lucky on the river?" asked Villaman, who got no response from Brookshire.
