Lin Flops All the Draws, Hits Them All To Double

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

There was about 23,000 in the pot from four-way preflop action and Mike Lin was all in on a flop of {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades} from the big blind for 13,000 after seeing the small blind check to him. A player in middle position went all in over the top of Lin and the final player in the hand, who was on the button folded. The small blind folded as well and the two remaining hands were tabled.

Mike Lin: {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Opponent: {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Lin flopped both a flush draw and an open-ended straight draw but was in need of hitting one of his myriad of outs. The turn completed it all, coming {5-Diamonds} and leaving his opponent dead as the river brought an unnecessary {2-Diamonds} to complete the runout.

On the following hand, Lin added slightly to his stack after completing the small blind upon seeing action folded to him and taking down the pot with a flop bet that got his opponent in the big blind to fold.

Park's Ace High is Good Enough

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Peter Park
Peter Park

On a {2-Clubs}{6-Spades}{j-Clubs} flop, an early position player bet 8,000, and Peter Park called from the cutoff.

The early position player checked the {6-Hearts} turn, Park bet 14,000 and got the call. Both players checked through the {3-Diamonds} river, and Park showed down {a-Spades}{5-Spades}, good enough to take it down against the opponent's {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}.

Rodriguez Fires Two

Level 13 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Noel Rodriguez opened to 5,500 from early position and action folded around to Craig Varnell, who defended his big blind. The flop came {a-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Varnell checked to Rodriguez, who made a continuation-bet of 5,000. Varnell called.

The turn fell {7-Spades} and Varnell checked again. Rodriguez reached for chips, grabbing 13,000 and tossing it onto the felt. Varnell thought for a few moments and sent his cards to the muck.

Taylor Scores Big

Level 12 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Wayne Taylor
Wayne Taylor

With around 30,000 in the pot and the board showing {10-Spades}{4-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, Brett Murray checked from the big blind blind. A player under the gun also checked, as did Wayne Taylor on the button.

Murray and the under-the-gun player checked the {a-Diamonds} river, and Taylor bet 11,000. Murray thought it over for awhile before putting in the call, while the third player folded. Taylor showed down {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}, taking the pot with the rivered pair of aces.
