Taylor Takes it Down Against Park

Peter Park open raised from the small blind, Wayne Taylor raised to 7,200 from the big blind, and Park called.

Park checked the {6-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop, and Taylor bet 6,000. Park put in the check-raise to 16,000, and Taylor called.

Both players checked through the {a-Hearts} turn. The river brought the {k-Clubs}, and Taylor announced a bet for 16,000, out of turn. The dealer informed Taylor that it was Park's turn to bet, and Park checked. By rule, Taylor was committed to putting the 16,000 in the pot, and Park folded to the bet.

Ross Ousts Steinman

Fresh off of his fourth-place finish in the just-completed High Roller event, Ian Steinman made his way into the Main Event field. His initial run in this tournament, however, didn't last long.

Steinman was in the big blind against Eli Ross in the cutoff, when both players got all of the chips in preflop. Ross had Steinman covered as the showdown commenced.

Steinman was outkicked through the runout, and Ross doubled up at his expense.

Rogan Gets River Value

Jarod Minghini open raised from middle position, Eyyal Altar called from the cutoff, and Sean Rogan also called from the big blind blind.

Minghini checked the {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{a-Clubs} flop, Altar bet 3,100, Rogan called and Minghini folded.

Both remaining players checked the {8-Diamonds} turn. The river came {4-Hearts}, Rogan bet 6,000 and Altar called. Rogan showed [KcJh to take down the pot.

Three-Way Pot Goes to Villaman

Farhad Sinaei bet 4,500 into two opponents, from under the gun on a {k-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop. The player his direct left called, as well as Ray Villaman in middle position.

The {k-Clubs} came in on the turn, and the action checked to Villaman. Villaman bet 10,000, getting both opponents to fold.

The latest addition to Wong's stack came in a hand where Wong checked from middle position on a {7-Clubs}{2-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} board. An opponent on the cutoff bet 5,200, and Wong raised to 12,400.

The opponent tanked for a bit before folding, leaving Wong just under the 200k mark.
