PokerNews is in town to live report both the Main Event and High Roller here at the World Series of Poker Circuit Bicycle Casino, but those are just two of the gold ring events that will have played out by the end of the series.

Event #6: $400 No-Limit Hold’em drew a small field of 53 runners, which meant a $17,490 prize pool was on tap for the final eight.

Coming out on top was 49-year-old businessman Mark Hamilton, who won it for $6,190 and his first gold ring. Originally from England but now residing in Los Angeles, the third time proved to be the charm as he’d previously finished second in two other WSOPC heads-up matches.

“This was a lot more relaxed because of the lower prize pool,” said Hamilton. “The Monster Stack was tough because I was chip leader with three left and then I lost a big flip … But this was just relaxed. The Bike is my favorite casino to play at. Most of my good cashes have been at The Bike.”

He added: “I think just playing a lot of tournaments has helped and I play a lot of heads up with friends, so that makes a difference.”
